Because of its mild climate, the most southern region of Switzerland is well known to go cycling early in the year. The rides around the lakes (Lago Maggiore, Lago di Lugano) are true classics.

But Ticino has way more to offer than just flat roads along the lakes. Countless small rugged roads, remote valleys, old villages with unique stone houses and neverending switchback roads with almost no traffic.
