About
Sneak Peaks is an immersive, unsupported bikepacking expedition through the Italian Dolomites and the Julian Alps in Slovenia. Organized by Orbit360, this single-stage event offers three fixed routes—ENTREE (500 km, 17,000 m of ascent), CLASSIC (800 km, 28,000 m), and ADVENTURE (1,100 km, 40,000 m)—each designed to challenge riders with a mix of gravel, single and double tracks, tarmac roads, and old colonial pistes. The route begins and ends in Bolzano, Italy, and includes remote sections with limited resupply points, requiring participants to be self-reliant. Checkpoints are strategically located at alpine refugios, offering riders a chance to refuel with traditional Italian cuisine and coffee.
The event emphasizes community and inclusivity, featuring a “Party Pace Patrol” to ensure a supportive atmosphere for all participants. With no cut-off times and a focus on the experience rather than competition, Sneak Peaks ranks among the most challenging and rewarding bikepacking events worldwide. The 2026 edition is scheduled for August 26th, 28th, and 30th, with each distance limited to a maximum of 100 riders. Whether you’re seeking an epic adventure or a test of endurance, Sneak Peaks offers a unique opportunity to explore some of Europe’s most breathtaking landscapes.
