About
The Tuscany Trail is the world’s largest bikepacking adventure, offering cyclists an unforgettable way to explore the heart of Italy. Starting in Campiglia Marittima on the Tuscan coast, the route stretches for about 440 kilometers with roughly 5,900 meters of climbing, taking riders deep into the region’s rolling hills, iconic “strade bianche” gravel roads, forests, vineyards, and ancient towns. Unlike a traditional race, the Tuscany Trail is fully self-supported, with no rankings or strict time limits, which means each participant can ride at their own pace—whether pushing hard for a challenge or taking time to enjoy local food, wine, and culture along the way. The event emphasizes the spirit of adventure and community, bringing together thousands of riders from around the world to share in the landscapes, sunsets, and friendships that define the experience. It’s not only a test of endurance, but also an immersive journey through Tuscany’s art, history, and breathtaking scenery, making it one of the most unique and celebrated bikepacking events in the world.
