Event description

The Alps Divide ULTRA is a brutal, self-supported bikepacking adventure through the heart of the Western Alps. Covering roughly 1,050 km with about 32,000 meters of climbing, the route threads through France, Italy, and Switzerland, tackling high mountain passes, rugged gravel roads, alpine pastures, and historic military tracks. It’s a race where every pedal stroke demands focus, endurance, and self-reliance.

Starting in early September, this event is limited to 100 riders, making it an exclusive challenge for experienced cyclists seeking a true alpine test. There are no shortcuts, no support crews, and no easy sections — just the mountains, your bike, and the relentless grind of one of Europe’s most epic ultra-distance courses. For those wanting the experience without the race pressure, the Alps Divide RALLY offers the same route at a group pace, combining adventure with camaraderie.
