DOOM LOViT or Leave iT is the entry-level distance of the DOOM series — a 111-mile (approximately 178-kilometre) event along the Lake Ouachita Vista Trail in Arkansas with over 9,000 feet (2,740 metres) of climbing on approximately 55% unpaved terrain. The LOViT is a purpose-built multi-use trail system around Lake Ouachita — one of the largest and cleanest lakes in the United States — that combines purpose-built singletrack with forest service roads and lakeside tracks. The name LOViT or Leave iT reflects the character of the trail itself: sections of technically demanding singletrack above the lake that reward skilled riders and punish those who approach with insufficient respect. Starting in Hot Springs, Arkansas, the route is completable in 10 to 20 hours for prepared riders, making it the most accessible point of entry into the DOOM series and a strong challenge in its own right for riders building toward longer ultra-distance events. The lakeside setting gives the route a visual character distinct from the higher ridge terrain of the Ouachita Doom — water views, lakeside campsites, and the reflections of the surrounding forest on the lake surface alternate with technical climbing sections on the surrounding hillsides.
