About

La Périphérie is a self-supported ultra-endurance cycling event that blends competition with adventure. Following a fixed route, riders decide their own pace, strategy, and style — racing hard for a fast finish or taking a slower, exploratory approach. There are no time limits, but every participant must be entirely self-sufficient: no outside assistance, no drafting, and no shortcuts.

The event champions fairness, respect for nature, and equal opportunity for all riders. Mandatory safety gear, compliance with local laws, and a “leave no trace” ethic are central to its rules. Beyond the challenge of distance and terrain, La Périphérie is about freedom, self-reliance, and community — giving cyclists a chance to push their limits while experiencing the landscapes and cultures along the way.
