About

Keep in mind that the Gravel Tro Breizh is an unassisted, all-terrain ultra-distance event – you can choose between a gravel bike, a monstercross bike, or a mountain bike, depending on your physical and technical abilities. If you opt for a gravel bike, be careful, the small tire section may handicap you in the fun sections. We can’t stress it enough: the Gravel Tro Breizh isn’t only run on roads and easy trails!

The Gravel Tro Breizh is a race with a mileage of around 1300 km. The distance must be covered in the relatively short time of 180 hours, or 7 days and 12 hours (you must complete at least 165 km per day to finish on time).
Even though the Gravel Tro Breizh is not a race, this event cannot be improvised. You must be in good physical condition to complete the course, and plan long days on the bike to finish on time.

The route is designed to be as balanced as possible – alternating between easy and slightly more “difficult” areas. This is also linked to the geography of Brittany – there is necessarily more elevation in the interior and central Brittany than in southern Morbihan, for example.
The route is adapted according to these parameters to provide you with the best experience for your adventure. The ratio of tracks, easy paths and small roads is higher than the “fun” and hilly sections.

The route changes every year to discover the very rich variety of Brittany.
