Norfolk 360 is a beginner-friendly ultra-cycling event in eastern England, offering a 360-mile (579 km) adventure through the county of Norfolk. Organised by All Pace Races, the event combines quiet country roads, gravel tracks and scenic coastal routes, taking riders from Thetford Forest to the North Norfolk Coast. With a flexible format and a central support hub, it provides an accessible introduction to ultra-distance cycling.
The course is divided into four loops inspired by the compass, covering approximately 70% road and 30% off-road terrain. Riders explore Norfolk’s countryside, forests, historic landmarks and coastal landscapes. Participants can choose between four distances: 110, 200, 280 or the full 360 miles (579 km). Gravel bikes with wider tyres are recommended for comfort on the mixed surfaces.
Norfolk 360 gives riders 36 hours to complete as much of the course as they wish. Every loop begins and ends at a central checkpoint at Claxton Village Hall, where participants can rest, sleep, store equipment and access their drop bags. Event organisers remain on-site throughout the challenge, with live tracking and a day-and-night pick-up service providing additional support.
Unlike traditional unsupported bikepacking races, Norfolk 360 removes much of the logistical pressure associated with long-distance riding. Riders can focus on covering the miles without carrying camping equipment or arranging accommodation along the route. Whether attempting their first ultra-distance event or aiming to complete the full 360 miles, the format offers a welcoming endurance challenge.
